This unique gala invites you to relax at home and save the costs of formal wear and babysitters, and instead support the fight against cancer. The Phantom Ball's proceeds will again be dedicated specifically to help support the building of the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge, New York City. Hope Lodge NYC will provide free temporary housing and other vital non-medical services to help alleviate the financial, physical and emotional stress of cancer treatment. Located in Manhattan on 32 nd Street between 6 th and 7 th Avenues, Hope Lodge is the American Cancer Society's response to fill a critical void for adults suffering from cancer.

The Phantom Ball's loyal supporters, the Brilliant Benefactors, spirited Sponsors, and Fabulous Friends have given generously to help make Hope Lodge NYC a reality. You, too can help support the Ball by purchasing a chance to win one of nine special door prizes donated by generous local merchants and longtime friends of the Garden City Unit of the American Cancer Society. For every $25 contributed, a door prize ticket will be submitted in your name. The prizes include: "Delectable Dining for Eight" by Culinary Heights; $250 Gift Certificate to Carltun on the Park; designer handbag created by Linda Rubin; Caryl Basis Designs - $175 Home Consultation; Vera Bradley Weekend Getaway Travel Set - The Pear Tree; "Let's Go Shopping" - $250 Gift Certificate - The Americana, Manhasset; exquisite necklace and earring set by Ande Giarraputo; "Celebrate Italian Style" - dine at Calegeros and enjoy a basket of cheer; and "Just For You" - $150 Gift Certificate to Essential Printing, Inc.
