Jenna Codignotto battles for possession In their first league match of the season, the Xtreme came up against the East Meadow Hurricanes at Nassau Haven Park last Saturday. The Xtreme played as if they were in mid-season form. The team passed the ball with great accuracy, supported each other and played determined defense. The pace of the match was very quick, one counter attack after another. It was a very entertaining game to watch, two passionate teams battling against one another. When the whistle blew, the Hurricanes were victorious, 4-2.

The team looks forward to more great competition on April 14 when they play the Farmingdale Rockets in the second round of the Waldbaum's Cup.
