The Garden City Student Aid and Scholarship Fund gratefully accepted a gift of $1,200 from the Garden City High school Class of 2001. the gift was made at the class's fifth reunion in memory of two class members, Sonal Sampat and Michael Scillitani, who have died since graduation. The Class of 2001 cherished their time at GCHS and wanted to honor the memory of their classmates with a contribution to a continuing source of financial assistance to GCHS students.
