On Monday, March 26th at Glen Cove, junior Colin Ridgway took the mound for the Trojans. He struck out five and walked three on his way to the first opening day no-hitter in Garden City history. Pat Sylvester led the offense as he went 2-for-3 with two RBI's. Garden City won the game 7-0.

The following day, at home against Seaford, Brian Finneran pitched to a 9-4 victory for the Trojans. He struck out five and hit a three run home run in the bottom of the second inning. Pat Sylvester and Andrew Rocco each hit solo home runs which contributed to the win. You can view many photos from the Seaford game at www.Newsphoto.com
