On Monday, March 26th at Glen Cove, junior Colin Ridgway took the mound for the Trojans. He struck out five and walked three on his way to the first opening day no-hitter in Garden City history. Pat Sylvester led the offense as he went 2-for-3 with two RBI's. Garden City won the game 7-0.

The following day, at home against Seaford, Brian Finneran pitched to a 9-4 victory for the Trojans. He struck out five and hit a three run home run in the bottom of the second inning.
