Photo by Newsphoto.com Garden City's girls varsity lacrosse team opened their season on Thursday, March 22nd with a convincing 21-3 win over East Islip. Senior Elise Terracciano had five goals and two assists for the Trojans. Becky Lynch, Caroline McTiernan and Erin Brennan scored three goals each while Lauren Terracciano and Dayna Defliese each had two. Rounding out Garden City's scoring were Brittany Wilton, Amanda Keller and Katie D'Antonio. Goalkeeper Emma Quailer made four saves.

Two days later, the team faced John Jay, where they won by a score of 20-3. Erin Brennan led the scoring with five goals.

The team will travel to Friends Academy for a 4:30 game this afternoon and then play a 9am non-league game at Shoreham/Wading River tomorrow, Saturday March 31st. You can view more photos at www.Newsphoto.com
