The Oscars may be over for this year, but the Community Club of Garden City and Hempstead cordially invites its members and guest to join us at the Garden City Casino on Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at 1:30 p.m., as our own panel of movie experts review the films from the past season and compare them with some of their favorites from previous years at our April General program.

Were you pleased with the selection of Best Movie and Best Actor and Actress of 2006, or would you have preferred the Oscar to go to someone else? Come and see if you agree with our experts - audience participation will be encouraged so please join us as Ruth Collins, our general program chairman moderates the panel consisting of past president Marie Scott, music chairman Paula Howe, and member Barbara Smutny.

A short business meeting will precede the program and delicious refreshments will be served at the tea hour following what should be a very lively and entertaining discussion. Please be sure to attend.
