Garden City might not spring to mind as the hunting capital of the Tri-State area. Unless, of course, the hunters happen to be children, and the game they stalk happens to be candy-filled plastic eggs.

Such a hunt happens annually at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, and this year is no exception. On Saturday, April 7, children between the ages of 2 and 10 are invited to join in the candy quest, which begins at 10 a.m. indoors with an Easter story. Children will then be divided into age groups and, in the words of the event's coordinator, Nathan Erb, they'll "go wild and hunt for Easter eggs."
