Stratford School Annual Science Fair
      Stratford School bustled with the activity earlier this month as third graders busily erected the science projects they had spent weeks preparing in anticipation of Stratford's 24th Annual Science Fair held on March 9. The students worked together in small teams at home on their own time to complete the projects.

Jungle Madness Strikes Stratford School
      Look up when you enter Stratford School's lobby this winter and you'll see monkeys hanging from the ceiling. Talking coconut trees, dancing bears, and a troupe of elephants also have been spotted in hallways with surprising frequency.

      Lawrence R. Schena , son of Valerie and Lawrence Schena of Willow Street, has enrolled for fall 2007 admission at Rochester Institute of Technology. Schena will major in engineering technology at RIT's Collage of Applied Science and Technology. Lawrence will be a June 2007 Garden City High School graduate.

      The sap is running in Garden City, and Locust School first graders in Carol Link's class know it first hand. The class recently received a visit from Garden City Arborist Michael Didyk, who showed the students how to tap the maple tree outside their classroom.
