Dr. and Mrs. Christopher Tessier Dr. and Mrs. Donald Hess of Garden City are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Lauren Marie Hess to Dr. Christopher Michael Tessier, son of Linda LaRose and Leonard Tessier of Holyoke, MA. The Nuptial Mass, celebrated by Msgr. John Gilmartin, was held on June 10, 2006 at St. Anne's Church in Garden City. The reception followed at the Garden City Country Club.

Gail Marie Hvidsten of Garden City, a sister of the bride served as matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Korri Tessier of Holyoke, Massachusetts, sister of the groom, Kasey Yetman Broocks of Richmond, Virginia, Colleen Connor of Saratoga Springs, New York, Maggie Maus Williams of East Greenbush, New York, Colleen Madison Schalk of Mineola and Deirdre McCartney Zeppie of South Hempstead, New York

Jared Mardeuse of Boston Massachusetts served as best man. The groomsmen were Donald Hess Jr MD, brother of the bride, of Boston Massachusetts, Vininder Khunkhun of Abbington, Massachusetts, Walter Mello of New York, New York, Chris Patrona of Mount Vernon, New York, John Swaitkowski of Boston, Massachusetts and Frank Traupman of San Antonio Texas.

The readers at the Mass were Matthew LaRose, Gregory Minton and Christine Auro. The organist was Tim Brown and the soloist was Gloria Brown.

Lauren graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in 1997 and the College of the Holy Cross in 2001. She is currently a freelance recruiter.

Chris graduated from Holyoke High School in 1997, The College of the Holy Cross in 2001, and Tufts University School of Medicine in 2006. Chris is presently an internal medicine resident at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, where he is also a Captain in the United States Air Force.

The evening prior to the wedding, the groom's families hosted a rehearsal dinner at La Marmite Restaurant in Williston Park. The couple currently resides in San Antonio, Texas.
