Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Wiebke Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Wiebke of Garden City joyfully announce the marriage of their son, Frederick Karl Wiebke to Jill Frances Flanagan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Flanagan of Yorktown Heights, New York.

A Nuptial Mass and Exchange of Vows were officiated by the Reverend Father Brian List, a longtime friend of Jill's family, and Deacon Michael McCabe, cousin to the bride, on Friday, September 8, 2006 at St. Patrick's Church in Yorktown Heights.

Following a receiving line of nearly three hundred guests at St. Patrick's Church, we dined, danced and celebrated at an elegant reception held at Beckwith Pointe, New Rochelle on Long Island Sound. The newlyweds were beaming, and the sunny skies and mild temperatures put the final finishing touch on a perfectly beautiful wedding day!

Jill's Maid of Honor was her close childhood friend, Elizabeth Finer. Bridesmaids were Tricia Brennan, Jean-Marie Fahey, Holly Flanagan, Jennifer Nafus, Margaret Singler and Kate Talbott. The flower girls were Emma and Grace Bradbury, cousins to the bride, and Abby and Emily Flanagan, nieces to the bride.

Fred's best man was his brother, Paul Wiebke, GCHS class of 1998. Groomsmen included Fred's brothers-in-law, Fred Flanagan and Marc Flanagan, as well as Gregg Genova, close Garden City friends, and Jason Fuller, Fred's college friend.

Many of Fred's close Garden City friends and former Varsity Soccer team members were in attendance, namely, Conor Grimes, Andrew Knote, Jeff Lord, Kevin Merrick, Matt Sweeney and Oliver Travieso.

Jill received her Bachelor of Science degree in health policy management in 2001 from Providence College. She is currently employed as a Senior consultant for Emerging Healthcare Partners, an executive search firm serving the healthcare industry, based in Danbury, Connecticut.

Fred a 1997 graduate of garden City High School, received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology/chemistry from St. Lawrence University in 2001. He resided and worked in boston for five years, and met Jill on a co-ed community soccer team. Fred is a Thermal analysis Sales Engineer overseeing the northeast region for PerkinElmer Life and Analytical Sciences based in Shelton, Connecticut.

The couple spent their two week honeymoon in the Hawaiian Islands of Maui and Kauai, and then onto the Sonoma-Napa Valleys of California, where they celebrated the groom's birthday.

Following a memorable honeymoon, Jill and Fred have started their happy life together in a lovely new townhouse in Southbury, Connecticut.
