The newest edition of the Adult Education brochure was mailed two weeks ago and you should have received your copy by now.

If you did not receive your copy, you can obtain a copy by picking one up at either the Garden City Public Library or at the Garden City Public School's Administration Building.

The Adult Ed brochure contains approximately 100-activites, ranging from crafts to computers. There are also, for example, a number of physical fitness classes and a number of home interest seminars.

One of the highlights that everyone looks forward to is the offering of bus trips to many interesting destinations. The Broadway shows currently available are: Grey Gardens; Grease; and The Pirate Queen. There is a day trip to Arthur Avenue in the Bronx, where we will celebrate all things Italian, and another to beautiful Gillette Castle in Connecticut.

As part of the school district's 'Celebrate America' program, you can join the tour of six of America's National Parks in September, a highlight of which includes staying at 7 National Park lodges.

And, as part of the school district's 'Understanding Other Peoples and Cultures' program, you can join the tour to of the capitals of Europe: London, Paris, and Rome in October.
