St. Joseph School At Garden City's St. Patrick's Day Parade
The clarinets are ready to go!
St. Joseph School wore its' green as students, administrators, PTA board members, school board members and parents turned out to march in the parade held in the village on March 4. The school band under the direction of Mr. Fisher held forth on the chilly day with old favorites such as the Notre Dame Fight Song. After the parade, school marchers celebrated at a Post Parade Party hosted by the PTA in the Monsignor Bennett Auditorium. Traditional Irish fare like corned beef and cabbage, as well as the music of Shaymac, quickly warmed everyone up. It was a great day for St. Patrick and St. Joseph School, both Garden City favorite traditions. (Photos by Virginia Austria)
