Alumna Recalls 'Good Old Days" at Stewart School

School Board To Meet
      The regular meeting of the Garden City School District Board of Education will be held at 8:15 p.m. on Monday, February 26, in the Cafeteria of the High School, 170 Rockaway Avenue. This meeting will be Budget Work Session #3 on the continuance of the Instructional Components of the budget for 2007/2008.

At Homestead "V" Is For Valentine And For Veterans
      Kindergarten and first grade students at Homestead School want veterans to know that the sacrifices made by the men and women in the military are appreciated-and Valentine's Day is the perfect day to tell them. The students marked the holiday by making cards for veterans who are patients in nearby veterans' hospitals.
