Weekday Clinic Information for Boys and Girls The Centennials will be sponsoring Soccer Clinics for Girls in grades 2-9 and Boys in grades 2-6 who are registered in the spring program. Our clinic program is presenting the opportunity to those children who would like to have some fun, enhance their skills and play more soccer. More ... Our normal Saturday intramural program is ON! The Saturday program has no off dates and runs in its normal timeslots through March 24th. Now accepting travel coach applications The Garden City Centennial Soccer Club is looking for qualified coaches to head our new U10 teams. Tryout for these teams will take place in June, 2007 with league play beginning in September. There were 248 kids (the most ever) that competed in five different age groups. The team performance was outstanding but fell short to a very deep Long Beach team. Meet highlights included Sean Lane being honored for most outstanding swimmer. Lane and Chris Finnigan finished 1st and 2nd in the 200 freestyle. Sean Lane finished 1st in the 500 freestyle. More ... The Boy's Garden City Fencing Team defeated Jericho High School 14-9 at Garden City High School on Saturday February 10th to claim the Nassau County Championship. Garden City earned the top seed in the four-team tournament with a record of 10-0 for the regular season. After defeating fourth seeded Great Neck South 14-8, they went on to beat Jericho in a thrilling match. More ... More ... It was Senior Night on Thursday February 8th as Seniors Katie Allen, Tricia Courtney and Kelly Donnelly played their last home basketball game for Garden City. In a pre-game ceremony each Senior was acknowledged with a tribute and flowers at center court with their parents. From there the game against Manhasset began. More ...
