U.S. Trust Celebrates 10 Years On Long Island

U.S. Trust, one of the nation’s leading wealth management companies, celebrates its 10th anniversary on Long Island, it was announced today by William J. Porter, Jr., regional president and managing director of the Long Island office of U.S. Trust.

“Since opening the Garden City office in 1996, we have built a strong reputation for delivering high-caliber wealth management solutions to entrepreneurs, business owners, corporate executives, financial services executives, individuals and their families throughout Long Island,” said Porter. Porter, along with a group of senior executives from the firm’s headquarters, originally chose Garden City because of its central location to the Long Island business hub and for its extensive professional community.

To broaden its relationships with the professional community, U.S. Trust on Long Island regularly hosts a series of seminars each year. Most recently, the firm held its 10thannual Attorney Seminar with members of the Surrogate Court where morethan 100 attendees earned CLE credits.

In addition to serving high-net-worth individuals and families of Long Island, U.S. Trust strongly supports its local communities. In fact, many of the firm’s senior executives currently serve on the boards and councils of some of Long Island’s largest charities including, The Epilepsy Foundation, Winthrop Hospital, North Shore Child & Family Guidance Center, The Port Washington Library Foundation, The Tilles Center at Long Island University, the Long Island Philharmonic among many other civic organizations.

Additionally, the firm hosts an annual holiday reception and donates hundreds of toys and gifts to a different non-profit organization each year. This year, the firm partnered with the Epilepsy Foundation of Long Island at its reception held at the Cherry Valley Club on December 14.
