Winter Kids Brochures At The Printers

The brochures for the Winter Program for Kids are already at the printers, so, look for them soon.

The brochures will be sent home with students during December instead of being sent home with students on the first day of school in January.

The Winter Program for Kids is offered by the Garden City Public Schools. The program starts each year on the first Saturday following Martin Luther King Day. Therefore, the upcoming program starts on January 20, 2007.

The program covers a wide variety of activities for children from Kindergarten to the sixth grade. There are, for example, activities involving everything from crafts to cooking to computers, including woodworking, dance, science, writing, ceramics, foreign language, winter games, and much more.

So, be sure to look for the brochures and be sure to register by mail as soon as possible.

A notice will be placed in the newspaper when the distribution date is known and the brochures are available. Extra brochures will be available at the Library and at the school administration building.
