Music At Irish Society Meeting The Irish Cultural Society will add music to the merriment of Christmas at its meeting on Tuesday, December 12 at 8 p.m. in the Garden City Library, 60 Seventh Street, across the street from the Garden City Hotel. The public is invited. The music and song will be performed by Patrick Clifford and Luke Powers. Luke plays the uilleann pipes, guitar and low whistle. He also sings and composes music. Pat plays the flute, tin whistle and bodhrn, and sings too. Our guests have prepared a Christmas program with an Irish flair. The members of the audience will hear songs they know and songs they don't. There will be songs in English, Irish and both. Pat and Luke promise a great evening of joy awash in music and song. President Martin Kelly will take the opportunity to wish a Merry Christmas to everyone present and to those whose presence we miss.
