Scouts Tour Cathedral Of The Incarnation
 | | Third grade Bear Scouts enter the Cathedral with tour guide Ruth Ann Collins. The scouts had many questions about the history of the church in Garden City. They also learned about the symbols and traditions in the Cathedral, and compared it to their church. Ruth Ann Collins was a tremendous source of information for the boys. |

Pack 55 Bears in Den 1 visited the Cathedral of the Incarnation in December. The Scouts were required to learn about historical sites and houses in their town. The Den was fortunate to have Archbishop Bean give them a tour of his 100 year old home. The Archbishop showed the boys the carriage house, the fireplaces and the graceful architecture in his home, used by the church for its clergy for many years. Next Canon of Youth Education Ruth Ann Collins showed the scouts the Cathedral. The boys learned about the architecture and the history of the church in Garden City. They asked questions about the current renovation and Bible history as they visited the sanctuary and the undercroft in the Cathedral. The boys felt very lucky to have such a great tour of the church that sponsors their Cub Scout Pack, #55.
