The Garden City High School Chorus led by choral director and music teacher Robert Ludwig, will delight all with a special selection of holiday music on Monday, December 4 in the grand ballroom of the Garden City Hotel at the gala annual AHRC Garden City Auxiliary Christmas Luncheon.
The chorus, initiated 10 years ago by Mr. Ludwig, is comprised of 20 talented GC high school students who have gone through a very selective auditioning process. This highly acclaimed group has performed at the Cathedral at Montreal, Disneyworld, and Ripley's Aquarium in Tennessee, among other venues. The program includes standards like "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer," "the Most Wonderful Time of the Year," "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and other favorites. In addition, Mr. Ludwig has chosen to highlight a few new jazzy arrangements and also some newly published material.
Tickets are $80 per person and your tax deductible contribution to AHRC is $45. For reservations or more information call Jane Horn at (516) 747-4576. This annual holiday tradition is the Auxiliary's most successful fundraiser to benefit children and adults with special needs. Seating is limited so please make your reservations early.
