Honored As Homecoming Hostess

Cynthia A. Koncick, of Garden City, was honored as a Homecoming Hostess at Bucknell University for her commitment to service, academic achievement, leadership in extracurricular activities and loyalty to the university.

A senior majoring in Music Education, Koncick is the daughter of Susan Walsh, Garden City, and a 2003 graduate of Garden City H S

A dean's list student and member of Alpha Lambda Delta honor society, Omicron Delta Kappa leadership honor society, and Mortar Board leadership honor society, she has served as a New Student Orientation Leader, president of Two Past Midnight a cappella singing group, and a student calling program manager. A member of the Concert Chorale, she also is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.

Bucknell University is a highly selective liberal arts institution that also offers professional programs in engineering, management, education and music as well as preprofessional programs in law and medicine.
