Annual Tastings 2006 A Phenomenal Success

It was a spectacular evening as The Miracle Foundation and the Garden City Unit of the American Cancer Society hosted their end-of-summer fundraiser, Tastings 2006, at the home of Christine and Richard Ranieri. The Miracle Foundation and the American Cancer Society join together each year for this occasion to fulfill their shared mission of making a difference in the lives of those touched by cancer. This year the event raised over $50,000. Funds raised are equally shared with The Miracle Foundation and the American Cancer Society. A portion of the proceeds are donated to Camp Adventure located on Shelter Island.

The Tastings event is an annual culinary experience that includes an abundance of exceptional wines and mouthwatering delicacies from leading Long Island restaurants. In addition to the delicious fare this year, there were wonderful raffle prizes, a 50/50 Raffle, and a rare opportunity to win a dazzling diamond necklace. HIP Health Plan of New York was the sponsor of this year's Diamond Raffle (donated by H.L. Gross & Bro. Jewelers). All procceds raised from the 50/50 Raffle and the Diamond Raffle were donated to Camp Adventure on behalf of The Miracle Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
