Still undefeated, despite seven years of our rival schools attempting an upset, GCHS GIRLS Varsity Swimming and Diving easily defeated perennial challenger Long Beach HS in a meet that had GC take the lead from the first event and maintain it all the way to its proud conclusion.

The meet against East Meadow HS displayed the remarkable talents of the younger members of the team and gave us a glimpse of what is possible in the future

lf they can hold on to this momentum, their goal of yet another county championship will be in reach. "Straight for Eight"
