Community Guide & Calendar InGarden City News Issues

This week's issues of The Garden City News contain as a supplement, Garden City's 38th annual edition of the Garden City Chamber of Commerce's Community Guide & Calendar of Events produced by the Chamber as a community service. It is being delivered to all Garden City residents over the course of two weeks. It is also inserted in all local newsstand copies. The purpose of the Guide is to serve as the Village Calendar, providing Garden City's residents and businesses with a listing of all community organizations, school and church groups; their presidents or chair people, along with their contact information. The Guide also lists the events scheduled by our community organizations from now through June of 2007 as they were presented to the Chamber at the Presidents Coffee last June, or on forms returned to the Chamber by mail.

"The Community Guide is made possible through the support of our local advertisers; the village-wide distribution through the generosity of The Garden City News," noted Althea Robinson, editor, who said copies will also be mailed to all Chamber members and advertisers.
