Grand Opening

Two St. Johns University Professors plus Garden City equals big business! Brothers, Howard, 36, and Todd Friedman, 34, just opened the doors to New York NY Fresh Deli located at 953 Franklin Ave.

In addition to teaching marketing and management, and finance and economics, respectively, the Friedman brothers knew they had to open New York NY Fresh Deli in Garden City after dining at the restaurant in Arizona.

"The food is phenomenal," said Howard. "I strongly believe in this concept and so far we're getting a great response from the community."

In the near future, Howard and Todd plan to participate in and raise money for local charities such as the 9/11 fund. "We look forward to meeting everyone in the community and we also plan on doing our part to give back," said Todd.

In addition to the fresh food and atmosphere, New York NY Fresh Deli offers free wireless Internet and flat screen televisions in the dining area.
