Waldorf Chamber Players

The Waldorf Chamber Players will open its 22nd season of "Music Among Friends" chamber music concerts in Garden City on Saturday, October 28, 2006.

"We look forward to bringing once again the best in chamber music to the Nassau County community," said Jeanette Resnick, director and pianist of the Waldorf Chamber Players.

Included in the performance is the Concerto in F Major for recorder, strings and continuo by George Philipp Telemann; Quintet in E-flat Major, Opus 44 for piano, two violins, viola and cello by Robert Schumann; and Quartet No. 8, Opus 110 for piano, two violins, viola and cello by Dmitri Shostakovich.

Violinists Jessica Lee and Aaron Boyd as well as violist Ah Ling Neu will join cellist Roberta Cooper, recorder player Helgard Adams, and pianist Jeanette Resnick in this program of chamber music to welcome the Fall season.

The performance will take place in Bonner Hall at the Waldorf School of Garden City at 8:00 P.M. Tickets are $20 (or $15 for students and senior citizens) and are available at the door the night of the performance. For further information, please call (516) 536-2911.
