On Sunday, October 15, the Garden City Community Church Forum will present Iona Emsley, Co-Chair of the Uniondale ACORN, speaking about "More Affordable Housing in Garden City and Long Island." Ms. Emsley is the Co-Chair of Uniondale ACORN, a group that has been very active recently in seeking to have portions of new development properties made affordable for lower income residents.

The Garden City Community church is part of the United Church of Christ. Worship services are on Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. with church school for children and a crib room for infants and toddlers during the later service.
