Peter Negri Is Sunday Forum Speaker

The Garden City Community Church Forum on Sunday, October 8th at 9:15 am will present Peter Negri, President of the Committee to Save St. Paul's. He will speak on "St. Paul's, the Past, the Present and the Future". The forum is open to the public.

Peter Negri is a long time resident of Garden City who has held many offices including president of the Central Property Owners Association. He has also been a Village Trustee and rotated through all the responsibilities for the departments of the Village as a trustee He has been active in various activities at St. Joseph's including School Fund Drive and the Historical Society and has served their athletic teams and Cub Scouts.

He is owner and president of Jamaica Bearings Company, a distributor of bearings and mechanical power transmission products. He is a graduate of Boston College and has served their alumni. He has an M.B.A. from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College.

The Garden City Community church is part of the United Church of Christ. Worship services are on Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. with church school for children and a crib room for infants and toddlers during the later service.
