Blessing Of The Animals

These two Labrador retrievers welcome all breeds of dogs and all species of pets at the Blessing of the Animals at Christ Church, Garden City, on Sunday, October 8, at 9:15 a.m.

Christ Episcopal Church in Garden City invites your pets and you to a Blessing of the Animals on Sunday morning, October 8, at 9:15, rain or shine in the parking area of the church at Jefferson Street and Chester Avenue, three blocks west of New Hyde Park Road.

The service, which is brief and occasionally "howling," takes place between the regularly scheduled 8 a.m. Holy Eucharist and the 10 a.m. sung Eucharist. For more information, please call (516) 775-2626.
