10th Annual TMA Father & Son Football Classic

2006-12-08 / Sports

This year we had a record turnout for the Football Classic with over 40 teams and 450 participants. We enjoyed great weather and friendl competition. The TMA raised $7600.00 for the Men's Association of Garden City.

This year's Cinderella story revolves around the 12th grade Carney team.

They were supreme underdogs going into the championship round but rallied late to upset team Pando and win it all. The highlight of the game was Anthony Pusateri's interception and 50 yard return which enabled team Carney to score in the closing seconds.

Congratulations to James Carney, Matt Barnes, Tom Lapinski, Peter O'Hanlon, Christian Gallo, Anthony Pusateri, Evan Crowley, Pat Bradley
