Barbara Sullivan goes up for a shot against Our Lady of Mercy. Photo by Newsphoto.com Garden City's girls varsity basketball team faced Our Lady of Mercy on Thursday night November 30th at GCHS and won the game 53-52. Tricia Courtney led the scoring with 17 points, including three 3 pointers.

The team followed up with another win on Tuesday December 5th against Carey where Kelly Donnelly led Garden City's scoring with 18 points.

Diana Leondis was close behind with 16 points, including two 3 pointers.
