All parents are invited to a presentation by Melissa Sornik, B.S.W., cofounder and president of LI-TECA, Inc., (Twice Exceptional Children's Advocacy) and director of the Talent Development Cooperative (TDC), TECA's talent development mentor program. The topics she will discuss include 'About Being Gifted, Identification, Asynchrony, Learning Style, Dual Diagnosis & Misdiagnosis, Characteristics and Behavior and Mentoring and Talent Development'.
