Just a reminder that the deadline for the Garden City Unit of the American Cancer Society's Holiday Announcement is Friday, December 8 th. Historically, the funds raised by the Holiday announcement have been allocated toward fighting children's cancer. This year we will continue this tradition, and fund research into a childhood cancer predisposition syndrome called Fanconi Anemia. Many cancer researchers feel understanding Fanconi Anemia holds the key to a cure for cancer.

During December, the Holiday Announcement will be printed in "The Garden City News," wishing everyone a happy and healthy holiday season from all of the families who wish to participate.
