The Boston Freedom Trail was a perfect weekend destination for Troop 55 Scouts. Boy Scouts from Troop 55 hiked the Boston Freedom Trail on Saturday, December 2nd.

Scouts started the hike at the Bunker Hill Memorial, and then toured the warship

"Constitution". After a tour of the historic ship with a first mate, the scouts proceeded to hike the Boston Freedom trail, which ends at Boston Commons. The hike took them to graveyards where famous Americans are buried, Paul Revere, Benjamin Franklin among others. They saw the Old North Church, Fanuiel Hall, Paul Revere House, the Old Statehouse and other historic sites on the 5 mile trek. Finally they feasted on dinner at an Old English Inn. The Scouts enjoyed the City of Boston and the great history of this colonial city.
