Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray (3 rd right, front row) presented an official Town of Hempstead citation to Garden City Fire Department Chief John Casey (3 rd left) in fitting recognition of Fire Prevention Day 2006 in Garden City. The demonstrations and activities included fire safety brochures, home fire safety demonstrations, giveaways, refreshments and firematic demonstrations.
