Flames Scorch East Meadow
Bobby Clarke and Luciano Migliore turning on the jets to get to a loose ball
The Flames, Garden City U-10 Boys soccer team is just burning up! They scorched the East Meadow Thunderbolts at Soccer Park on Saturday Nov 18th with a 5-1 win. Bobby Clarke started the spark by putting in a goal within minutes of starting the game. Chris Koester and Brett Alvarez both put one in to finish the first half. Tim Collins, Alex Franco, Luciano Migliore, and & Gregory Pahlavi hustled hard the whole game. Chris Costigan, our goalie, did an awesome job as usual.
Chris Koester came out on fire during the second half and scored his second and third goals of the game! Bobby Clarke played goalie during part of the second half and did a phenomenal job punting the ball down field. It was nice to have Connor Tariche back on the field- he seemed fully recovered and demonstrated some fancy footwork. Our defensemen Brian Goulard and Billy Trimmer are tough, quick and reliable. Billy developed an awesome left foot which sends the ball nicely downfield.
The boys are looking forward to playing their last game on December 2nd in Plainedge and celebrating the end of an unbelievable season with a party that evening. The Flames are coached by Tom Trimmer, Bill Clarke & Rey Tariche.
