Patriettes' Strategy Session On Saturday, November 11th, the Garden City Patriettes U10 girls' soccer team defeated the Manhasset Meteors to improve their record to 5-2-0. On a warm and beautiful Veteran's Day, the Patriettes' were raring to go. With fierce determination, Kelsey Whitney scored the first goal of the game and Margot McTiernan followed with goal number 2. Laurel Nothel, Claire Murphy and Annemarie Kane continued the Patriettes' offensive pressure with numerous shots on the Manhasset goal which were blocked by the Meteors' outstanding goalie. Manhasset got one by the Patriettes and it was 2-1 at the half.

At the top of the second half, the Patriettes scored 3 more goals by Alicia Mueller, Margot McTiernan and Kelsey Whitney. Goalkeepers Julia Biscardi and Caitlin Kaczynski did a great job of protecting the net with the awesome defensive support of Christie Pflume and Erin Rode. Injured Kelly McDonnell provided the Patriettes with enthusiastic support from the sideline. Final score, Garden City Patriettes 5, Manhasset Meteors, 2.
