Adelphi Presents "Mexico Profundo"
Adelphi University is pleased to present "Mexico Profundo," a colorful photographic essay about the peoples of Mexico by Associate Professor of anthropology Laraine Fletcher, on display in the Swirbul Library Gallery, 1 South Avenue, Garden City, NY, from Sunday, November 19, 2006 through Sunday, December 1, 2006. Her exhibit includes photographs from several Maya regions, as well as from Oaxaca, Xochimilco, and Chalma. The Swirbul Library Gallery is open Monday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m. For more information, please contact Richard Vaux, Director of Exhibitions, at (516) 877-4462.
