On November 12, PO Bandl stopped a 22-year-old Stewart Manor woman for alleged speeding at 60 in a 30 mph zone, the failure to stay in a lane, and allegedly driving while impaired(.07%), on Stewart Avenue... Also on November 12, PO Bandl observed a 49-year-old West Hempstead woman driving with a suspended registration on Nassau Blvd.,and she was arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd degree( 3 suspensions, 3 dates). She did not have insurance... PO Matos arrested a 26-year-old Hempstead man for aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd degree, no registration, no insurance, no inspection, and no front plate, at Clinton Rd., on November 11. The motorist's driving privileges had been taken away for a DWI... On November 10 , between 9:30 a.m. and 7:45 p.m., at an Arthur Street residence, a burglary occurred. $15,000 was taken in jewelry and thieves entered through a dining room window... PO Jacobsen arrested a 22-year-old Elmont man for aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd degree (16 suspensions, 6 dates) on Franklin Avenue, on November 10. The motorist also had a Hempstead traffic warrant and was unregistered, uninspected and uninsured... A 29-year-old GC man was arrested for the felony possession of credit cards and for the violation of a probation warrant, on Wyatt Rd., on November 8... Sgt. Pedersen arrested a 33-year-old Freeport man on November 13, 4:55 a.m., on Clinton Rd., after the man was observed driving erratically there. He was charged with alleged DWI (.09%), alleged speeding at 54 in a 30 mph zone, unsafe lane change, and for aggravated unlicensed operation for a prior DWI... On November 8 , 4:15 p.m., the GC Police assisted the County DA's office in a traffic stop of a 51-year-old NYC man, who is a defendant in a high profile DWI case. The man had been issued a conditional license and was driving to and from the court that day, which was not a condition of the license. He was arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd degree and for driving out of conditions...On November 10,11:30 a.m., police responded to a scene where playground equipment and a fence had been wrecked at the St. Paul's playground, at Rockaway Avenue. It seems that a 23-year-old Garden City woman had been driving the car that had veered onto the playground, however, a 62-year-old Mineola woman stated falsely that she was the operator of the car. Both women were charged with the obstruction of governmental administration, and since there was a 4-year-old passenger in the back seat of the car, both ladies were also charged with the endangerment of a child. The Garden City woman was also charged with unlicensed operation, and the Mineola woman was charged with permitting unlicensed operation...
