Twigs of Winthrop-University Hospital Women's Auxiliary heralds an exciting fundraising season this weekend with its 32nd Annual Golden Goose Gala Candlelight House/Gallery Tour and Holiday Shopping Boutique. Exquisitely decorated Garden City homes and properties will be opened for your viewing pleasure on Friday, November 17th between 4 p.m. and 7:45 p.m., rain or shine. An exciting new venue to the house tour this year is the addition of one of Long Island's premier art galleries, Sunflower Fine Art & Frame, located at 172 Seventh Street. Mr. Patrick Longo, gallery director, announces that Sunflower will be opened till 10 p.m. this Friday. Visitors to the gallery will be warmly greeted with hot apple cider. Mr. Longo will graciously donate 10% of this weekend's art sales to Twigs. Tickets to The Candlelight House Tour are $45 and may be purchased at the Holiday Shopping Boutique on Friday.

The Holiday Shopping Boutique with many vendors, both new and popular favorites, will be at St. Paul's Field House this Friday from noon to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. St. Paul's Field House is located on the corner of Rockaway and Stewart Avenues. Get a head start on your holiday shopping while supporting Winthrop-University Hospital. The merchandise selection will delight you and friends and family will surely thank you for your astute shopping prowess. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and checks will be accepted.

Twigs is a non-profit organization that holds various fund-raising events throughout the year and welcomes prospective volunteers. Proceeds from all Twigs' events are pledged to Winthrop-University Hospital's Hagedorn Pediatric Center. Twigs supports Winthrop's mission to provide world-class care to its communities.
