It's a good thing that the team didn't believe it.

Throughout the regular season they played so well that going into the Class A playoffs they were the #2 seeded team. After playoff victories over Mineola and Wantagh the team was ready for it's semi-final game against New Hyde Park.

Friday night November 4th felt more like a cold January night than an early November one. It was cold and windy and in a heartbreaking 1-0 loss to New Hyde Park, Garden City finished its season with a 14-5-1 record.

That's a record that every team member can be proud of.
