Brett Alvarez working the ball through Albertson's defense to score the first goal The Garden City boys U10 soccer team coached by Tom Trimmer, Bill Clarke & Rey Tariche have been having an incredible season. This Saturday the boys earned another win against the Albertson All Stars with a score of 2 to 0. Brett Alvarez was on fire! He was able to move the ball through Albertson's defensive players and put the ball in the net within minutes of starting the game. This set the tone for the rest of the game. Bobby Clarke, Tim Collins, Chris Koester, Luciano Migliore, and Gregory Pahlavi kept the ball down by Albertson's goal. In the second half, the skillful Alex Franco scored the second goal. The reliable defense played by Alex Franco, Brian Goulard and Bill Trimmer kept the ball out of Garden City's net. Chris Costigan again did an outstanding job in goal. We sorely missed the injured Conner Tariche, who hopefully will be returning for next week's game.
