Saint Anne's Church is holding its annual Thanksgiving food drive. Unfortunately, there are now thousands of families in Long Island that are in need and will not have a Thanksgiving meal without help from the more fortunate. Our annual program provides a chance for everyone to participate.

1. Sponsor a Family for Thanksgiving

The "Sponsor-a-Family for Thanksgiving" program is in co-ordination with Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal's Gerald J. Ryan Outreach Center in Wyandanch, serving 750 families.

You purchase food for a specific family's Thanksgiving dinner. (No cooking is required) A recommended list of food and other items to purchase is provided.

2. Donate Food for Needy Families

This program is in co-ordination with Saint Martha's Parish Outreach Center in Uniondale, serving 350 families. You purchase food for a Thanksgiving dinner - either a complete meal or any items contributing to a Thanksgiving meal. (No cooking is required)

3. Thanksgivng Monetary Donations

If you are unable to do the shopping, you can make a monetary donation. Please make a check (no cash, please) payable to Saint Anne's Church with a notation: "Thanksgiving Sponsor a Family" program. Send it to Saint Anne's Church, 35 Dartmouth Street, Garden City, NY 11530, Attention: Parish Social Ministry.
