Julia Biscardi On Saturday, October 21st, the Garden City Patriettes U10 girls' soccer team defeated the Wantagh/Seaford United. The Patriettes' attack was unstoppable as Annemarie Kane, Julia Biscardi and Kelsey Whitney each scored a goal in the first half. The Patriettes' continual offensive pressure in the Wantagh/Seaford zone paid off again when Erin Rode, Kelly McDonnell, Laurel Nothel and Christie Pflume scored four more goals. Goalkeepers Margot McTiernan, Alicia Mueller and Kelsey Whitney along with the support of defenders Claire Murphy and Caitlin Kaczynski did an awesome job of holding Wantagh/Seaford to just one goal. Final score, Garden City Patriettes 7, Wantagh/Seaford United, 1.
