To The Editor:

Sometimes we lose sight of where we live and the people who live around us daily. On October 11, 2006 we lost our beloved son Greg Gartner who was in the 1989 graduating class of Garden City High School. The outpouring of kindness that was displayed by our neighbors, the Garden City Police, Garden City sanitation, the funeral director Margaret at Fairchild Funeral home, Father John at St. Annes and, of course, his high school classmates was truly awe inspiring to our heartsick family. We are proud to have been residents of Garden City for the past 33 years and never has our town made us feel prouder to call this home.

This letter is to show our extreme thanks and gratitude to all the people that helped us cope with this troubling time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
