Regardless of the rain and miserable weather, the fall cookout for the Garden City Retired Men's Club went off well. The Club now looks forward to its Christmas luncheon to be held at the Cherry Valley Country Club.

The lunch will set members back $40 apiece and take place on Wednesday, December 20. A menu has as yet to be arranged but the chefs at Cherry Valley have an excellent reputation for producing fine meals.

Members are urged to get their reservations in soon and make arrangements for their guests. The Club expects at least sixty members to attend and the earlier the reservations come in the better.
