In less then eighteen days the 2006 Midterm Elections will come to a close. Who will victor and what will the headlines read on November 8? Are you someone who ponders these questions? Or perhaps you would like the opportunity to discuss your thoughts personally with those seeking election this year? The Garden City Republican Club invites you to join them Tuesday, October 24, at Grimaldi's for "Pizza and Politics" from 5:30 - 7:30 PM. Back by popular demand, the club decided to return to Grimaldi's as their last event there brought rave reviews about the food, music and camaraderie. You need not be a club member to attend although, the club is always actively seeking new members. The club will meet again outside the Foodbasket on Saturday, October 28, 10 am for Homecoming, Saturday, November 4, 9 AM at Foodbasket for their annual Get Out the Vote Effort, Sunday, November 5, Nassau County Bar Association from 5:30-7:30 PM $125 pp, honoring Senator Kemp Hannon and Assemblyman Thomas McKevitt and of course on Election Day. Volunteers are always welcome especially any youth interested in Senator Hannon's canvas program.
