Do you want to meet a friend of mine?
Do you want to meet a friend of mine? 42 Tiger, Wolf, and Bear Cubs together with the older Webelos Scouts, were amazed by the show of snakes, turtles, lizards, ferrets and spiders all of which they were able to pet and hold. The evening turned out to be a family affair with parents and siblings joining the experience.

This was the first Pack meeting of the year which featured as its theme, animal care. Each individual Den of 6 to 8 boys meets during the month to prepare for the monthly Pack meeting and presents their work or a skit corresponding to the agreed upon theme. As you can see Cub Scouting is great fun, and allows for boys in the second to fifth grades to experience new and exciting things. If you are interested in participating in the scouting program, there are three Packs in the Garden City area, and you are free to join any one of them. Contact the Theodore Roosevelt Council at 516 797-7600 and ask for the Pack in your area.
