On September 29, PO Graber arrested a 21-year-old Babylon man for alleged DWI at the scene of a 2-car accident at Seventh Street/Hilton Avenue... On October 1, 3:50 a.m.., PO Florio arrested a 21-year-old Garden City man for alleged DWI(.16%) at Seventh Street... On September 30, 10:15 a.m., PO Caputo arrested a 24-year-old Garden city man for alleged DWI( .10%)... PO Dallolio responded to the scene of a serious accident at Fifth Street/Cathedral Avenue at 10:44 p.m. on September 30. Four Uniondale residents were taken to Winthrop Hospital after their car hit a fire hydrant and 2 trees there. One occupant was ejected from the car and received head and rib injuries... On September 24 , a $689 Ariens snow blower was stolen from the rear yard of a Meadow Street... On September 27 , 4:30 p.m., a 27-year-old Hempstead man took 4 Structure leather jackets valued at $1192 at Sears... Also on September 27 , a 24-year-old Franklin Square woman took several shirts, including Three Dots shirts, valued at $246, at Lord and Taylor. The woman also had an open bench warrant for open alcohol... On September 28, there was a truck stop on Clinton Rd. 16 trucks were inspected, 76 tickets issued, and 11 trucks taken out of service... PO Edwards arrested a 42-year-old Garden City woman for the violation of an order of protection against her husband, a Garden City resident, on September 30... Between September 30 and October 4, 4 criminal mischief activities took place near Brompton Rd. A brick was thrown at a window of a Brompton Rd. residence. Damage was $240... There was a broken window at a St.Paul's Place, with $245 in damage... A light pole and address sign were found damaged at a Hampton Rd. residence. Damage was $245... A pumpkin was thrown through a Rockaway Avenue residence's door causing $2500 in damage... Between September 29 and 30, burglars used a lawn chair to stand on in order to cut a screen window, gaining entry at a Meadow Street house. Unknown proceeds at this time... Between September 29 and 30, tires were slashed on a 2004 Nissan . Value was $240... On October 2, PO Stolz arrested a 29-year-old Wilson North Carolina for aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd degree, and no insurance, at Stewart Avenue. The motorist had a revoked license from NY... Between October 1 and 2, a $200 glass top on a patio table was broken at a Chester Avenue residence... PO Hennessy arrested a 22-year-old Hempstead motorist for a fractured window and obstructed view on his car, at Meadow Street/College Place. The man also had an outstanding warrant for petit larceny... On October 3, 1:30 a.m., a front window and 2 front screens were found damaged at a Euston Rd. residence. A soda can and hand weight had been through a window there at $250 in damage...

On September 27 , an alarm malfunctioned at a Second Street residence...An odor of gasoline emanated from an empty container that had been washed in a slop sink at the GC RR station causing alarm, on September 28. Natural ventilation was used... The contents of an oven burned at Waldo Hall, Adelphi University, on September 28... FD shut down an elevator car at County Seat Drive on September 28... An alarm was activated by workers using a propane torch at the GC Golf Club on October 4...
