Girl Scouts Clean Beaches

On September 16, friends and members of Girl Scout Troops 1432 and 1437 participated in the International Coastal Clean Up event at Garvies Point Museum shore in Glen Cove. The group collected shoreline trash and presented it to researchers who will analyze its contents and determine its impact on the environment.
