Thunder on the attack. The GCAA Thunder 12 year old team faced a tough Long Beach team last Sunday.

Great defense by Andre Stone, Pat Lyons, Jake Schlapp, Matt Schmelzinger, Matt Leto, Keith Hoge and Scott Ernenwein held Long Beach scoreless in the first quarter and forced two fumbles. Mike Lyons, Oliver Weber, Sean Digan and Alex Kelly made several tackles stopping the Long Beach offense.

The offensive charge was led by Michael Comiskey, Austin Menger, Sean Kiley, Steven Bradley, Peter D'Antonio, Eddie Tigh, Andrew Calabro, Eddie Blatz, Alex Weber, Tim Fitzgerald and Brian Defiese.

The Thunder team gave a great effort but went down 21-6. Next week they take on Franklin Square, GO THUNDER!
